On average, Luna Farms Rescue spends $500 to rescue to care for animals. We spare no expense to save a life, which translates to large medical bills! In an effort to keep costs from coming between homeless animals and their forever homes, our adoption fees do not cover our expenses.

Eleanor and Her Puppies
One becomes many. Meet Eleanor. A local shelter, that like so many have limited staff and money, called and asked us to hurry before she delivered in the shelter where her newborns wouldn’t meet the world on a concrete floor of a full shelter and be exposed to disease and suffering. Volunteers retrieved this pregnant mom and drove her to a foster home that welcomed her. She was a great guest and waited a few hours before bringing eight beautiful puppies into this world. This dedicated foster; feed, cared, raised this family and helped us placed mom and all the babies into loving homes.
