Impact

As a non-profit, we exist only with support. We will always disclose how our funds are expended and how many lives we save. We revisit our strategic plan and goals annually to make sure we are focusing on addressing the immediate problems of overpopulation, but also implementing programs to create long-lasting change for the community and their companion animals in the areas we support.

We were formally founded in 2022 as Luna Farms Inc - Luna Farms Rescue, Rehab, and Sanctuary - a 501(c)(3). Based in Rocket City U.S.A. also known as Huntsville, Alabama, we came together as leaders in the local community to use data and technology to create lasting change in animal welfare in the Southeast.

Key Metrics for 2024:

In 2024, 736 animals got a second chance. Not by luck, but because people like you showed up when it mattered.

At Luna Farms Rescue, 2024 was a year of transformation. Together, we:

  • Helped 12 moms and their puppies find safety and care.

  • Spayed and neutered 50 community animals, breaking the cycle of overpopulation.

  • Rescued 30 dogs from chains at a Tennessee flea market—where they were bred relentlessly and forgotten in the cold.

  • Treated dogs with broken legs, heartworms, and injuries no one else would touch.

  • Gave 26 senior dogs the golden years they deserved, pulling them from shelters where time was running out.
